Phoenix, Arizona is a very popular winter home for many species of waterfowl. By December, most molt into their most beautiful breeding plumage and if you know the proper techniques and the proper spots, they can be photographed at very close range. This is one of the best spots in the world for photographing Northern Pintail.

Learn from award winning and acclaimed waterfowl photographer E.J. Peiker in a one on one environment. I will hold nothing back and show you exactly how I create my duck photographs and insure that you get some outstanding shots. In the Winter of 2009 and 2010 I will be taking my DuckShop to a private by appointment model rather than group sessions to better give each individual client exactly what they need to take their photography to the next level. All sessions will be by appointment and will be custom tailored to your specific need. Your session can be a classroom only session, a field only session, or both. You can request one on one time in four hour time blocks, morning or afternoon sessions as well as specify exactly what your goals are from either a skill or a knowledge standpoint. I am qualified on both Nikon and Canon systems and can help you get the most from either brand. Depending on which species you are after, we can go to various places. For field sessions, emphasis will be placed on the students getting maximum photographic opportunities. If you choose to include a classroom session, I will tailor the instructional session to your specific need, whether it be photographic technique, photographic theory, or image processing in Photoshop, RAW conversion in Adobe Camera Raw, or other items as per your request.

Price:
$250 per person per 4 hour time block for Phoenix/Tempe Arizona,
$300 per person per 4 hour time block for Tucson Arizona
$300 per person per 4 hour time block for Exotics
Other locations, $300 per 4 hour time block plus travel and expenses
Minimum Time block is 4 hours, maximum is 16 hours over two days. You can mix and match classroom and field time in 4 hour chunks.
