This workshop, consisting of an evening of photographic instruction, a full day of shooting these beautiful creatures, an evening of Photoshop image preparation instruction, and an additional morning of more waterfowl photography. We will be visiting the Albuquerque Zoo, a wintering ground for Wood Ducks and numerous other species. In addition, a few captive exotic species are also available to photograph.

This DuckShops is a 2 evening, 3 shooting session workshop that will bring you in contact with beautiful wild waterfowl and allow you to get great photographs. The DuckShop consists of a Friday evening of education on how to best approach and photograph ducks, instructed by E.J. Peiker. Exposure, composition, and equipment will be covered thoroughly on Saturday evening. A slide show of the various species you are likely to encounter along with descriptions of the photographic techniques required to get them will be presented. This will be followed by a Saturday morning/afternoon and a Sunday morning shoot.
